Community Services Team Starts with a Bang and a Bark
Employee teams are the backbone of Power Partners, and shortly after Power
Partners purchased the Athens operation, a Community Services Team was
established. The new team has started off fast with the adoption of
ZAPPIT, the bulldawg, who now graces the front of Power Partners' building.
ZAPPIT was the result of a PPI contribution to the Athens Oconee Junior
Women's Club that will help 11 charities in and around Athens.
This new team has made recent donations of time/money on PPI's behalf to the United Way, Georgia Association of the
Deaf, Boy Scouts of America, heifer International, Behavioral Disadvantaged Group, American Cancer Society, Relay for Life,
habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics.
The team has established PPI Friends & Family, a group that will help PPI
employees who are on disability with needs such as transportation to doctor
appointments. Retirees have been invited to join the group.
The members of the Community Services Team are Linda Ball,
Rhonda Goolsby, Angela Harper, James Johnson and David Werling.
