Here are three of the many letters that Power Partners
employees in Athens have received from grateful customers.
.....
On May 4, we experienced a first in
our Companys history. Approaching our territory
were at least three major tornadic thunderstorms. The
storms left us with three communities in ruins, two
distribution substations destroyed, miles of distribution
lines in disarray, and numerous distribution transformers
damaged and unstable.
[You] initiated our Alliances Emergency Response
Plan
by the time [we had a preliminary count for
needed transformers from the field], the storm had traveled
on to Georgia and struck your area. I understand it
took some effort from many of your employees to make
it to the plant to start our production.
Even with those setbacks
the trucks rolled into
our system with the transformers. This effort resulted
in our being able to provide service to all remaining
homes and businesses within two weeks after experiencing
these storms.
All our customers and we at Empire wish to express our
gratitude for all efforts made by your employees
and
for the tremendous job they did in providing transformers
to us on such a timely basis. YOU ALL MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE.

Thank you for providing our company with
your service during the ice storm of April 3-5, 2003.
During the storm restoration, I saw an intense team
effort by your personnel in meeting the needs of crews
in the field and the many others working in concert
with those crews. Your timely and professional support
was appreciated.
Please extend my thanks to all of your personnel who
assisted us during this event.
